Paul Hagy

EDMOND — Paul Eugene Hagy, 68, passed away Friday, October 4, 2013, at his home in Edmond, Okla. He was born on April 2, 1945 in Dexter, Mo., to the late Carl L. and Dora I. Hagy.

He was united in marriage to Janet Rose (Bone) Hagy on May 28, 1966 in Pevely, Mo. and two children were born of this union.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Archie Hagy, Marshall Hagy, and four sisters, Annabell Hagy Borders, Edith Hagy, Alice Fay Hagy Williamson, and Alta Mae Hagy Denny.

Those who remain to mourn his passing are his wife, Janet Rose Hagy of Edmond;  one daughter and her husband, Helen and Randy Smith of Edmond; one son, Paul Eugene Hagy Jr. of Sparks, Okla.; five brothers, Carroll Hagy, Oliver Hagy, Harold Hagy, Cecil Hagy and Vernon Hagy; nine grandchildren, Christyna Smith, Kendra Smith, Sara Eichenlaub, Timothy Eichenlaub Jr, LeAnna Crawford, Troy Rice, Paula Hagy, Tiffany Hagy, and Megan Hagy; six great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, along with many other family members and friends who will greatly miss him.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at Waterloo Road Church of Christ in Edmond, with Harvey J. Stow officiating. Services are under the direction of Matthews Funeral Home and Cremation Service Edmond.
