Joseph G. Pardi

EDMOND —     Joseph G. Pardi, 60, now rests peacefully with our Heavenly Father.  He passed away October 15, 2013.

Joe was born in Sacramento, Calif. on December 3, 1952, the only child of Robert Pardi and Pauline Carpenter.  He grew up and graduated high school in Sacramento.  Joe married Melanie McBride in 1979.  They have two sons, Adam and Josh.  He has been an Edmond resident since 1982 and has worked at the University of Central Oklahoma for 30 years in the Physical Plant as Paint Shop Supervisor.  He loved UCO and considered everyone on campus as his family.  He was loved by all the UCO faculty and staff.

Joe enjoyed fishing, boating and riding his Harley Davidson.  He loved Lake Tenkiller and has requested that his ashes be spread on his land there.  Joe attended Life Church.TV.  He received a miracle from God on his wife’s birthday in 2005 when he received a liver transplant. He believed his life after transplant was all a bonus from God.

Joe is survived by his wife, Melanie; sons, Adam and Josh; daughter-in-laws, Sarah and Brooke; granddaughters, Natalie, Madison and Fallan; grandson, Ethan; and a new granddaughter to be born on October 30th, Hayzlie Faith.

Joe gave love and he received love.  He will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m., Saturday, October 19, 2013 at Baggerley Funeral Home.
