Gregory Dee Hill Russell, 48, died Saturday, August 10, 2013 at his home in Norman, Okla. He was born March 17, 1965 in Oklahoma City, Okla. to Dee and Judy Hill.
Greg graduated from Altus High School in 1983 and received a degree in chemical engineering from the University of Oklahoma. He was executive vice president/COO of Georg Fischer Central Plastics in Shawnee at the time of his death. He loved fishing, gardening, and building things.
He is survived by his mother, Judy Russell of Edmond; one sister, Lori Neher; a brother-in-law, Derek Neher; and three nephews, Caleb, Jonah, and Sam Neher all of Edmond. He has one grandmother, Madeline McGee of Hollis and one grandfather, Loyd Russell of Colorado.
He is preceded in death by his dad, Dee Hill; grandfathers Blair McGee and Mitchell Taylor, grandmothers Gracie Taylor and Louise Russell, and one cousin Kevin Short. Greg leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He will be missed so much for his love, quiet strength, laughter, giving, and being totally nonjudgmental of all people.
A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Wednesday, August 14 at the chapel of Crossings Community Church, 14600 N. Portland, OKC under the direction of Crawford Family Funeral Service, Edmond.
