Mildred H. Scholl


EDMOND —     Mildred Henderson Scholl, 87, of Edmond, Okla. passed away October 4, 2013.  She was born October 8, 1925, in Winnfield, La., to Ivan Paul and Lora Marguerite (Carraway) Henderson.

    Mildred enjoyed working crossword puzzles and listening to music from the 1950’s. 

    Mildred is survived by three daughters, Rita Scholl and husband David Hudson, Jamie Gossett and husband Richard, and Ahmie Taylor and husband Jeff; one son, Rob Scholl and wife Zona; grandchildren, Michael Sternick, Michele Jadick, Rick Gossett and wife Chrissy, William Gossett and wife Annette, and Paul Gossett and wife Christy, Morgan Swink and fiancé Cameron Fitzgerald, Hadley Taylor, Amber Scholl, Chandra Scholl and Ericka Scholl; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sister-in-law Caroline Field;  and cousin Vestle Dean “Sug” Bailey and husband Don. 

    She is preceded in death by her husband, James Scholl; daughter Carole Sternick; three sisters, Dorothy, Lynne and Rosemarye; and parents, Paul and Lora Henderson.

    Funeral services will be 10 a.m.  Wednesday, October 9, 2013, at First United Methodist Church of Edmond, 305 E. Hurd St., Edmond.  Interment will follow at Gracelawn Cemetery, Edmond.

    Services are under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home, Moore, Okla.
