EDMOND —
Landon Gregory Burger, 18, of Edmond, Okla., was born Friday, May 13, 1994 in Oklahoma City, OK to Kenneth Gregory Burger and Susan Kay (Russell) Burger. He passed away February 18, 2013 in Edmond.
Landon attended St. Johns School through seventh grade when he transferred to Yukon Public Schools. He was currently a senior at Edmond Memorial High School. Landon had a passion for music and dancing. He also played several sports, including football, baseball, track and especially basketball. But above all, Landon loved his family and friends.
Landon is survived by his father, Ken Burger and wife Stephanie of Edmond; mother, Susan Burger and fiancé Robert Dale of Mustang; brothers, J.P. and Jake of Edmond; sisters, Megan of Buffalo, Wyo. and Makenzie of Edmond; grandparents, Buzzy and Sue Russell of Yukon; great-grandmother Bama of Minden, Nev.; uncles, James, Jeff & William Burger and George Tolon; aunts, Mary Burger and Jenny Holaday; uncles, Steve Russell and wife Jennifer and Scott Russell and wife, Kristi; aunt Stacey Russell; cousins, Tylor and Taylor, Dylan, Jessie, Tiffany, Scout, Joel, Shannon, David, Kaytlyn, Tyler and Lance, and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jimmy Burger.
A Wake service will be at 7 p.m., Thursday, February 21, 2013 in the Yanda & Son Funeral Home Chapel, in Yukon. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m., Friday, February 22, 2013 at St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church in Yukon. Interment will follow at Yukon Cemetery.
