Ellanora Britton

EDMOND —     Ellanora (Eddie) Britton, 90, passed away on July 14, 2012 at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City, Okla.  Eddie was born March 10, 1922 in Clinton, Okla., to Sidney and Isal Parks. Eddie, also known as Gram, was an incredible woman and loved dearly by all. She was the prayer warrior of the family, consistently emulating the love of Jesus Christ.

    She is survived by her daughter Sharon and her husband David Ash; three grandchildren, David B. and Patty Ash of Houston, Texas, Tania and Micky Kilburn of Edmond, Okla., and Paul and Jennifer Ash of Burleson, Texas; and seven great-grandchildren, Jessica, Hannah, Abigail, Aiden, Christian, Marcus and Haydon. Her family and friends will never forget her hugs and kisses; she never let you get away without giving you a hug or a kiss.

    We know that she is now dancing on the streets of gold, with her Savior. Her legacy is her faith and love for Jesus Christ and she has set the standard for her family by walking this out every day of her life.

    A come-and-go reception was 6 - 8 p.m., Monday, July 16, 2012 at Crawford Family Funeral Service of Edmond.

    Services celebrating her life will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 17 at Calvary Temple in Edmond.  Burial will be at Ozark Memorial Cemetery in Joplin, Mo., where she spent 47 years of her life raising her family.
