Delma Annette Lowman

EDMOND —     Delma Annette Lowman, 76, of Edmond, Okla., went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 21, 2012. She was born April 3, 1936, in Cushing, Okla. to Delmar and Constance Robinson.

Annette graduated from Midwest City High School in  May 1955. It was during this time that she worked the ticket counter at Skytrain Theatre in Midwest City, Okla. where she met her husband of 57 years, Ronnie Lowman.

She enjoyed painting, crafts, and ceramics. Annette loved being with her family and friends and playing with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Annette started an outreach project at Lone Star Baptist Church called Friends for Children in 2005, collecting 3,067 stuffed animals for the young victims of Sri-Lanka Tsunami.

Annette’s greatest achievement was living a life for Christ which she showed us by having a heart for giving rather than recieving, never turning anyone in need away, and being a mother to dozens of kids who gained her comfort and love. Annette was a great blessing to many of these kids as she helped lead them to know Christ.

She is survived by her husband, Ronnie Lowman of Edmond; daughter Debbie Kinard and husband Scott, of Crossett, Ark., son Matt Lowman and his wife Debbie of Edmond;  brothers Roger Robinson, Fred Robinson and his wife MaryAnn of Midwest City;  grandchildren Ashley Hammond and her husband Chris of Crossett; Michael Kinard and wife Brittney of Edmond, Nathan Kinard of Conway, Ark., Jeremey Lowman, Cohen Lowman, Fisher Lowman, and Madden Lowan all of Edmond; and her great grandchildren Ethan Kinard, Abbie Kinard, and Asher Kinard of Edmond, and Maryemma and Levi Hammond of Crossett.

She is preceeded in death by her parents Delmar and Constance Robinson and her brother Jack Robinson.
