Geraldine Littleton Chumley Draper

EDMOND —     Geraldine (Wade) Littleton Chumley Draper,  79,  passed away on November 17, 2013 in Gatesville, Texas.  She was born August 3, 1934 in Houston, Texas to James Milburn and Mabel Louise (Fowler) Wade.

    Geraldine enjoyed oil painting, teaching arts and crafts classes, sewing, crochet, counted cross stitch, crosswords and crafts. She was a legal administrative assistant, managed fine jewelry stores, made jewelry and taught classes. She also enjoyed cooking, collecting ceramic birds, poetry, and loved a wide variety of music and arts.  She was a world traveler, homemaker, and a loving mother.  She made T.V. appearances on the Ida B. Show (live talk show) and Happy Days.

    She graduated from Bishop McGuiness in 1952, Mercy Hospital School of Nursing, and earned Triple Certification Computer Sciences.

    She married Walter Maxwell Littleton Sr. at Cathedral of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, August 21, 1953, in Oklahoma City; Robert Allen Chumley in Oklahoma City, and Glen Dale Draper in Oklahoma City..

    Geraldine is preceded in death by her parents James and Mable Wade, and Walter Littleton Sr.

    She is survived by her five siblings, Geneva Sue Wasson of Humble, Texas,  Mary Louise Murphy of Euless, Texas,  James Lee Wade of Lakeland, Fla., Donald Gene Wade of Oklahoma City, and Linda Kay Murphy of Bellingham, Wash.; children, Walter Maxwell (Max) Littleton Jr. of Guthrie, Okla.; Stephen Wade (Steve) and Rosa Littleton, of Guthrie, Cynthia Kay (Cindy) (Littleton) Cutler of Gatesville, Texas, Terry Alvin Littleton of Edmond, Okla., seven grandchildren; Mathew, Aaron, Steven-Wesley, Miranda and Thomas, Kristen, Anthony and Nina,  and two great-grandchildren, Aamani and McKenzie.

    A Celebration of Life service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 26, at the Resurrection Free United Methodist Church, 6000 N. McArthur Blvd. Oklahoma City, OK 73122.
