Patsy Ruth "Pat" Gates passed away Friday, April 2, 2010. Pat was born September 19th, 1930 to Ralph and Ruth Brown in Blackwell, Okla., where she grew up and graduated from high school in 1948.
She married Francis ‘Rusty’ Gates on April 13th , Easter Sunday 1952. After living in Kinsley, Kan. and Okmulgee and Eufaula, Okla., they moved to Edmond in 1964.

Born April 26, 1924 to John Louis Walter and Mary Alice Slattery Walter, in Pueblo, Colo., he married Thelma L. Gourley on October 12, 1951 and the couple has resided in Edmond, Oklahoma since. Mr. Walter was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy on the submarine, U.S.S. Pampanito.
