Police seek information in drive-by shooting

Monroe: Several rounds were fired into Edmond home

EDMOND — If you know something about a weekend drive-by shooting, the Edmond Police Department wants to hear from you.

Spokeswoman Jenny Monroe said the EPD seeks information from the public in regards to a drive-by shooting that occurred in the 1000 block of Blackwelder on Sunday.

Officers responded to a shots fired call in that area at about 9:30 p.m., Monroe said. Officers checked the area but did not discover anything suspicious, Monroe said.

“About an hour later the homeowner called and reported the house had several rounds of ammunition fired into it,” Monroe said.

There were no injuries, Monroe said.

“We are wanting information on vehicles in that area at the time or any other information that could help us track down who is responsible,” Monroe said.
