OKASBO selects EPS former chief financial officer as School Business Officer of the Year
Members of the Oklahoma State Business Association of Business Officers have unanimously named David Fraser, Edmond School District’s former chief financial officer, the recipient of 2012-13 School Business Officer of the Year.
“Fraser was actively involved in the organization, and he was valued for his professionalism and appreciated for his wit and good nature,” said Edmond’s Superintendent David Goin.
The presentation was to be made posthumously at a luncheon during the organization’s annual conference Thursday. In addition to Edmond Public School administrative and business office attendees, Donna Fraser and her children planned to be present. Donna accepted the plaque on David’s behalf.
A check for $1,000 will be awarded to David’s successor, Lori Smith, to attend the organization’s national conference later this year.
Goin also told the Board of Education that the signage for the Fraser Technology Lab will be in place within the next month.
