Special to The Sun
It’s never too early to begin thinking about the process of selecting the right college for you, but you can wait too long.
That’s why Edmond Library, 10 S. Boulevard, 341-9282, is partnering with Oklahoma College Assistance Program and the University of Oklahoma Writing Center to present three college planning programs in September and October. The sessions will meet from 7-8:30 p.m. on Tuesday evenings, beginning Sept. 17. They will learn the significance of exploring their interests to determine a possible career path and the importance of planning, preparing and paying for success in high school and beyond.
The 7-8:30 p.m. session on Sept. 24 is for high school students who want to learn how to kick-start the application process.
From 7-8:30 p.m. on Oct. 1, high school students will be able to meet with representatives from the University of Oklahoma. Students interested in attending any college or university are welcome.
