Santa Fe students present ‘Mr. Marmalade’ Dec. 5-6

EDMOND — Edmond Santa Fe High School drama students will be presenting “Mr. Marmalade,” a play written by Noah Haidle this weekend.

 The play is directed by Robin Robinson. Technical director is Skip Fedder and assistant director is Mattea White.

Cast members include Jessica Tang as Lucy and Mr. Marmalade, portrayed by Lane Jinkins.

Other cast members include: Sookie portrayed by Erica Aveard; Emily, Lincka Elizondo; Bradley, Brody Baumann; Larry, Ian Eastland; George, Austin McKinnis; cactus, Alyssa Compton; sunflower, Sara Handy; waiters, Nick Malget, Gabe Hamm and Tariq Ebrahim; violinist, Kevie Yu; man, Trenton Willbanks; wall: Wendy Essington; chair, Parker Martin; door, Peyton Rosales and Grandfather clock, Ryne Tabor.

“A dark comedy, the play deals with how Lucy deals with abusive behavior through cast members portraying imaginary friends and relatives,” said Santa Fe drama teacher Robin Robinson.

School counselors will be set up in the foyer of the auditorium to speak with students who have questions dealing with abuse.

Santa Fe High School students will be performing the play at 7 p.m. Dec. 5-6 in the high school auditorium. The school is at 1901 W. Santa Fe.
