9-6 School menus

Edmond

Elementary Schools

Milk is served daily with all meals.

Monday

Popcorn chicken, sweet & sour sauce, rice, mixed Asian veggies, pineapple or egg roll

Tuesday

Pepperoni pizzata, broccoli and cauliflower florets, Ranch dressing, Juicy Jell-O or salad bar entree

Wednesday

Steak fingers w/BBQ sauce, Texas toast, mashed potatoes w/gravy, cantaloupe or toasted cheese sandwich on whole wheat

Thursday

Lasagna, French roll, Caesar salad and blushing pears or ham sandwich

Friday

Fajita chicken wrap, fresh baby carrots, green apple wedges or cheese quesadilla

Middle schools/High Schools

A choice of fruit, vegetable, juicy Jell-O and milk is offered daily with meals. Tony’s Pizza or Red Baron French Bread Pizza, burgers, sandwiches and chef salads are available.

Monday

Sweet & Sour chicken rice bowl, choice of veggie, choice of fruit, or pizza strips basket and french fries

Tuesday

Cheese nacho, choice of veggie, choice of fruit or chicken filet sandwich basket

Wednesday

Crispy/soft taco, choice of veggie, choice of fruit or panini sandwich basket

Thursday

Lasagna, french roll, choice of veggie, choice of fruit or Chick-Fil-A basket and french fries

Friday

Steak sandwich, choice of veggie choice of fruit or Mazzio’s pizza

Deer Creek Public Schools

Elementary Schools

Milk is served daily with all meals.

MONDAY

Cheeseburger, tater tots and pineapple

Tuesday

Rib-a-que, augratin potatoes, peaches and wheat rolls

Wednesday

Ham & cheese hoagie sandwich, shredded lettuce, grapes and yogurt

Thursday

Ravioli, bread sticks, green beans and pears

Friday

Pizza sticks, salad and strawberries

Middle school

Salad bar is served daily. Chick-Fil-A sandwich is available on Mondays. Potato bar is served on Thursdays. Available everyday: cookies, extra entrees, assorted snacks, nachos, pretzels with cheese, drinks and bottled milk.

MONDAY

Cheeseburgers or corn dogs, tater tots, mixed fruit; occasionally foot long chili dogs or sub sandwich

TUESDAY

Egg rolls or chow mein, roasted chicken rice, pineapple and fortune cookies or sub sandwich

WEDNESDAY

Beef/cheese burrito or taco salad, fiesta beans, Mexican rice and churro or sub sandwich

Thursday

Chicken nuggets or fried chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, dinner roll and peaches or sub sandwich

Friday

  • Language Fair invites students of Native American languages

    Students of Native American languages from preschool to high school age are encouraged to enter the 10th annual Oklahoma Native American Youth Language Fair, scheduled for April 2-3, at the Sam Noble Museum in Norman. Participants in grades pre-K through 12 will demonstrate their language skills as groups or individuals in the spoken language and language in song categories.

Both highs and lows wove throughout the month as we said hello to the promise of a new year and good-bye to the comfortable routines and faces of the past. It seemed to be a time to pull the wagons closer for shelter and consolation.

Voters in the Edmond Public School District 2 will go to the polls from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Feb. 14 to decide between school board candidates Steve Roy and Kathleen Duncan. District 2 is roughly centered in northwest Edmond. Who will get your vote?
