North junior makes Eagle Scout

EDMOND — Edmond North High School junior Christian Jacobson achieved the rank of Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America in August.

Jacobson’s Eagle project was to landscape and paint a memorial marker at the Edmond Farmers Market for the City of Edmond and local residents.

Seventeen-year-old Jacobson is in Eagle district, Troop 21 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.

While in scouting he has held the positions of den chief, troop guide, chaplain aide and patrol leader.

Jacobson has attended Slippery Falls Scout Ranch at Lake Payne and Camp Alexander at Lake George, Colo., as part of the 60th anniversary of Scouting.

At North High School, Jacobson has been on the Huskies football team for two and a half years, has been a member of “The Storm” Rugby Club for four years and plays the guitar. He is learning jiu jitsu and muay thai.

His parents are David and Deborah Jacobson.
