The University of Central Oklahoma will present its 2014 Teacher Job Fair from 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday in Central’s Nigh University Center third-floor ballrooms.
Professional attire is required and attendees are encouraged to bring several copies of their résumé. The event is free and open to anyone pursuing a professional position in education.
More than 50 school districts and educational organizations will have booths at the fair, including Edmond Public Schools, Oklahoma City Public Schools, Broken Arrow Public Schools, Tulsa Public Schools, Midland Independent School District (Texas), Arkansas City Public Schools (Kan.) and the Peace Corps.
Representatives are seeking applicants for a wide range of education certification areas, including administration positions, speech-language pathologists, nurses, counselors, psychologists, psychometrists and library media specialists.
