EDMOND —
Memorial High School seniors streamed through the doors Thursday of Chisholm Elementary’s cafetorium as they came back to visit their grade school teachers.
Thomas Higdon, Chisholm’s new principal, greeted the former students along with their former principal, Joann Graham, who retired last year.
While their fifth-grade musical played on the full-size screen, the former students read letters they had written to themselves in the fourth grade about what they wanted to do when they graduated from high school.
When given the command, “Criss-Cross Applesauce,” all of the seniors sat flat on the floor remembering an earlier time when life was a little different but oh, so much fun.

Kindergartners say they are ‘Ready for first grade’
As more than 1,600 Edmond Public School kindergartners await their graduation to first grade they have mixed feelings, much like their senior counterparts graduating this month.
