The Edmond North baseball team got back on the winning track Wednesday night with a 10-2 win over Ponca City in the Enid Tournament.
“We had two tough loses, and got pounded, and I thought we rebounded well and got on the winning side,” North coach Rick Nordyke said.
The Huskies put together one of their better hitting performances with 14 hits on the night. Matt Willison led the way gong 3-for-4 at the plate, Brad Beeston was 2-for-4 and Brian Harris finished the game 2-for-3.
Bryce Hallam threw a complete game for North, allowing just one earned run on four hits, with seven strikeouts.
The Huskies return to action today when they take on Midwest City in day two of the tournament. They will return Friday to play Putnam City North at 4:30 p.m.
