The Santa Fe volleyball team knocked off Norman North in the regional finals to claim a spot in the state tournament on Thursday night.

The Lady Wolves beat Norman North 25-6, 25-14, 25-12.

"It was a fun night," head coach Will Ethridge said. "We were a little flat in the first match against Mustang, but really stepped up the intensity in the finals."

Santa Fe downed Mustang 25-13, 25-13, 25-16 in the first round.

Constance Ezugha had 17 kills, while Kylie Smelser had a .500 kill percentage. Alex Hodges led the team with 11 aces, and tied for the team lead in blocks with Lindsey Harshaw, with three apiece.

Harshaw led the team with 53 assists.

The Lady Wolves will take on Edmond North in the first round on Thursday at Moore High School.

"We are very excited to be going to the state tournament next weekend," Ethridge said.
