The Oklahoma Christian School Saints bounced back admirably from a tough loss last week by pounding the Crescent Tigers 55-14.

The Saints offense dazzled all night long raking in 35 points in the first half. Jeff Smith once again paced the offense for the Saints rolling up 115 yards and three touchdowns on the ground and catching a pass for another TD totaling 24 of the 55 points.

Junior QB Jack Warren also have a good showing throwing for 217 yards and also throwing four touchdown passes. Jon Sikes led all receivers catching 3 passes totaling 85 yards, including one touchdown grab. All total the offense racked up 461 yards.

As spectacular as the OCS offense was, the defense might have been even better. The Saints’ defenders held Crescent scoreless through three quarters and the Tigers only managed two meaningless touchdowns in the last quarter of play.

The Saints defense was paced by Nate Britton who had 13 tackles on the evening including one sack.

The win puts the Saints back on track at 7-2 overall, 5-2 in the district.

Next up OCS travels to Luther to face the Lions in the last game of the regular season.
