OKLA. CITY — Deer Creek High School had four student-athletes sign letters of intents to prospective colleges Wednesday including state champion point guard Alexa Adair, who will hoop in Ada this fall at East Central University.

Adair helped direct the Lady Antlers to a 59-44 golden ball win over Shawnee in March.

"Alexa definitely worked to get better," Deer Creek head coach Totsy Manning stated at the signing. "After practice, her work never stopped. At 6:30 a.m., she was at the school working out."

On the baseball diamond, pitchers Peyton Blass and Joe Peregrin impressed Oklahoma Christian University head coach Lonny Cobble so much, he recruited the duo to play for the Eagles prior to either tossing a pitch this spring.

Peregrin, who is currently 4-0 for the Antlers, fired a no-hitter at home versus OCS on March 2.

Lady Antler second baseman Haley Wells will trek to Kirksville, Mo. to play softball at Truman State. She is an All-Stater, the district MVP and cleared the .400 mark from the leadoff spot for Deer Creek.
