The University of Central Oklahoma Department of Athletics will host a motocross event at 5 p.m. Friday on the west side of UCO’s Wantland Stadium as part of tailgate festivities for the first Broncho football home game of the 2013 season. The Bronchos kick off against the Pittsburgh State Gorillas at 6 p.m.
Ten-time X-Games medalist and Stillwater native “Cowboy” Kenny Bartram, along with fellow X-Games champions Cody Elkins and Matt Buyten, will perform a Big Air motocross jump show. Bartram, Elkins and Buyten will be available before and after the event for autographs.
As part of UCO’s Salute to the Armed Forces, fans with a valid military ID or veterans ID will receive free admission to the football game. Guests of active or retired military will receive half-price general admission when tickets are purchased at the stadium on game day. Central Oklahoma will honor the U.S. armed forces throughout the game.
