Ally Robertson, a swimmer from Edmond North High School, was named to the National Interscholastic Swimming Coaches Association All-American Team for 2012-2013.
To make the team, a swimmer must place in the top 100 in the country in their event, including both public and private schools. Robertson was a state champion in the 200 individual medley, setting a new state record.
She also qualified for consideration in the 100 breastroke, along with teammate Rylee Linhardt, who qualified for consideration in the 500 Freestyle.
Naresh Naik from Edmond Memorial, who qualified for consideration in the boys 500 freestyle.
“Making the All-American team is very difficult,” said coach Steve Riggs. “For Ally to accomplish this is a tribute to her dedication and hard work.
“Naresh and Rylee also deserve credit for making the consideration standard. They each had a great season as well.”
