Moore, Scarberry deadlock atop standings

EDMOND — Shaebug Scarberry and Ashley Moore tied atop the girls ages 15-18 standings in Monday’s Coffee Creek SCSPGA Junior.

The pair each entered the clubhouse with 83s, as Samantha Dennison was just a mere stroke behind.

On the boys side, Rhett Bechtel cleared Mikey Roberts by a pair of shots and Mark Kepka by three strokes. They shot 73, 75 and 76 respectively.

Lane Wallace was the victor of the boys 12-14 division with a sparkling 71 ensued by Nick O’Donnell (73) and Jun Kim (78).

For the girls, Kaylee Peterson wound up with a 42, a couple of shots ahead of Samantha Peters (44) and Alyssa Watson (46).

Jackson Dowell eked out the boys 9-11 division with a 42 as Hardy Bowers scraped for second-place honors with a 43, just one shot ahead of third-place Craig Sanders.
