The Deer Creek Lady Antlers won the Durant Classic for the second year in a row over the weekend.
Deer Creek started things off with a 46-25 win over Hugo on Thursday, followed by a 52-38 defeat of Putnam City North on Friday and capped by a 42-29 victory over Westmoore on Saturday in the title game.
Bayli Blanchard was named tournament MVP after averaging 13 points per game and going a perfect 10-for-10 on free throws.
Ashley Gibson with 12 points per game and Alexa Adair with 6 points per game and 4 assists per game made the all-tournament team.
In the championship game, Blanchard had 18, Gibson 16, Whitney Jones 5, Dakota Vann 4 and Adair 2. The Lady Antlers led only 19-15 at half but extended their lead to 34-24 going into the fourth quarter before winning by 13.
Deer Creek is now 4-0 and ranked second in the state.
The Lady Antlers will next play at No. 3 Shawnee tonight, then travel to the McGuinness Festival on Friday and Saturday to take on the No. 7 Lady Irish and 3A No. 3 Millwood.
