The Edmond Sun
Alexis Sadeghy is on a tear.
The 17-year-old Edmond golfer who attends McGuinness High School in Oklahoma City, just came away with another golf title this summer.
Sadeghy championed the Big I state qualifier on June 26 at KickingBird with a blistering 66, which included a 29 on the back 9.
And, on Wednesday, she hoisted the Women’s Oklahoma Golf Association’s Junior Championship brass after getting hot with the putter. Alexis drained six birdies from over 10 feet out winding up with a 73-72—145 at Tulsa’s Meadowbrook Country Club, thus receiving an automatic placement on the Oklahoma women’s fore state team.
At the end of the month, Sadeghy will represent Oklahoma in the 2013 Junior Southern Cup in Jackson, Miss. and the Big I National Championship in Pinehurst, N.C.
