Starting the season on Aug. 13 in a triangular in Mustang, Santa Fe picked up a pair of victories over host Mustang and Putnam City.
“We played a little rough at times,” Ethridge said. “But, it was the season opener.
“We should have a very strong team this year if we can continue to get better as the season progresses.”
Aerial Jackson and Spence each had four blocks in Mustang.
On Sept. 6-7, Santa Fe will host the Heather Harkness Tournament.
