Edmond North basketballers Tyler Sanders and Austin Usery both signed letters of intent April 26 with prospective colleges.
Sanders, a 6-1 guard, inked with Mid-America University. He was a four-year starter for the Huskies and scored 10.8 points per game in his senior campaign.
“Tyler is an outstanding shooter who will really benefit from the style of play at MACU,” Husky head coach Steven Goss said. “They are getting a player with a great love of the game.”
Usery, a 6-4 forward, signed with Southwest Christian University. He has started the past two seasons tossing in 6.2 points a game this winter.
“Austin has completed and held his own against top tier players night in and night out and Coach (Quinn) Wooldridge is getting a hard worker who can make an impact on his program.”
Wooldridge coached at Edmond North during the 2011-012 season.
