The Oklahoma Fellowship of Christian Athletes announced their 2014 All-State selections. These All-State athletes and coaches will be honored at the Western Heritage Museum on Tuesday.
The FCA All-State Award was established to recognize achievement in the classroom and on the athletic field while being involved in their local FCA Campus Organization. FCA recognizes the character, academic and athletic achievement and Christian faith of an individual student-athlete. FCA All-State athletes are all high school seniors who are nominated by the local FCA Sponsor in each community.
Speaking at this year’s All-State banquet is former Florida State head football coach Bobby Bowden. Having coached young men in seven decades, Bowden became the second-winningest coach in major college football history. He guided FSU to over 300 victories, two national championships, 12 ACC titles, finished in the top 5 in the country in 14 straight seasons and led the Seminoles to Bowl games in 28 consecutive seasons during his 34-year tenure. Bowden remains involved in FCA; annually awarding The National Bobby Bowden Award to a student-athlete for achievement on and off the field, including his conduct as a faith model in the community.

The 2014 FCA All-State honorees consist of 31 student-athletes and coaches throughout the state of Oklahoma. The Oklahoma City metro area athletes are listed below with their high schools.
