Saints dry out N.O.A.H.

EDMOND — The Oklahoma Christian School Saints won a 47-12 home victory over the Northern Oklahoma Alliance of Homeschools Friday night.

All of the Saints’ scores came in the first half, while N.O.A.H. scored twice in the second half.

OCS had a balanced attack, rushing for 203 yards and passing for 163.

Quarterback Austin Brooks was 8-for-11 for 163 yards, one interception and three touchdowns, including a 28-yarder to Garrett Kilborn, a 56-yarder to Blake Barnes and a 29-yarder to Kilborn.

In addition to the touchdowns, Barnes and Kilborn led the receiving corps with 76 and 70 yards respectively. Barnes also had a 68-yard punt return for a touchdown    

Cameron James ran the ball 12 times for 113 yards and three touchdowns of 22, 11 and 5 yards to lead six Saints ball carriers. Luke Frankfort put in 61 yards on the ground.

The Saints defense led by Frankfort held N.O.A.H. scoreless until late in the third quarter.

OCS had fumble recoveries by Evan Welch, Jared Goff, Duncan Aldridge and Palmer Rice.

Cornerback Corbin Metz snagged a N.O.A.H. pass for the Saints’ only interception.

OCS is now 4-1 and will host Millwood next week.
