'Dogs fall to Norman North

Edmond Memorial was looking for payback on Friday night when they headed to Norman to take on the Timberwolves in the playoffs for the second straight year. But Norman North again came out on top, ending the Bulldogs season with a 31-0 win at Harve Collins Field.

Tyler Tettleton scored a pair of touchdowns in the second quarter, helping the Timberwolves take a 24-0 lead at halftime.

Beau Blankenship scored his second touchdown in the third quarter, making it a 31-0 final. The senior finished the night with 96 yards rushing and two touchdowns.

Anthony Morales led the ‘Dogs with 39 yards rushing.

Memorial finished the year 7-4 overall. Norman North will be on the road next Friday at Tulsa Union to take on the 10-1 Redskins. They beat Sand Springs 70-21 Friday night.

    All three of the Bulldog seniors got wins by fall on Tuesday, when the team honored their graduating players. Ry Huff won at 220 pounds, Zach Bradshaw at 182 and Derek Hackett at 160.
