The Oklahoma Christian Academy Eagles faced another tough opponent in the Sasakwa Vikings and fell by a score of 54-24 Thursday night.
There were bright spots for the Eagles, once again Parker Randell had a star performance racking up 127 yards of rushing and scoring the first two Eagles touchdowns. Tyler Minx also had a solid night, rushing for 81 yards and throwing for and additional 41.
Sasakwa jumped on OCA early scoring two quick touchdowns and did not let up from there. The halftime score stood at 40-12.
OCA would score two more touchdowns in the second including a Chris Payne 5-yard TC catch, but it would not be enough as the Vikings raided the Eagles, 54-24.
“They are a good team, they had lots of size and they jumped out on us early and we just could not catch them” Eagles head coach Keith Lough said.
The Eagles will look to rebound next week at home when they face Davenport.
