Hess to headline MMA event

Former Central Oklahoma All-American wrestler and current mixed martial arts fighter, Jared Hess is set to headline the Bricktown Brawl 3 on Friday night at the Coca-Cola Bricktown Event Center in Oklahoma City.

The fights are set to begin at 8 p.m. with Trey Branscum of Ponca City taking on Clayton Shatswell of Springdale, Ark. The nine-bout event will wrap up with Hess taking on Delson Heleno of Brazil in the headliner fight.

Hess also fought in the Bellator Fighting Championships, finishing runner-up in the middleweight division.
