The Edmond North girls didn’t let a loss to Putnam City get to them, as they rolled Stillwater 64-32 Friday night at the Siberian Gym.
“Our effort and focus were great tonight,” North coach Kevin Korstjens said. “I just hope we can keep that focus rolling to the tournament.”
Elizabeth Donohoe paced the Lady Huskies with 16 points and six rebounds. TaNita Dewberry and Emily Davis also finished in double figures with 14 and 10 points, respectively.
The Lady Huskies led by 10 at the end of the first and saw the edge grow to 37-11 at the half. North doubled up Stillwater in the third before playing even in the final eight minutes of action.
North has some time off before heading south for a tournament in Sherman, Texas on Dec. 28.
