KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Central Oklahoma’s Cory Dauphin has been named the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association Wrestler of the Week, the league office announced.

The senior from El Reno captured the 157-pound title and was named Outstanding Wrestler at the Nebraska-Kearney Holiday Inn Open Nov. 23 as he remained undefeated on the season.

Dauphin breezed to three wins in the one-day tournament, following an opening-round bye with 7-2 and 6-1 victories before scoring a first-period fall in the finals. The defending national champion improved to 8-0 in running his winning streak to 26 in a row.
