NEW YORK —
Deer Creek’s Caleb Eldridge had quite a summer.
The left-handed batting Antler who always seems to get his hands through the zone made several prominent summer teams along with committing to Oklahoma State. Eldridge will sign with the Pokes during the early signing period in November.
Over the Labor Day weekend, Eldridge performed at Citi Field in New York as a member of the New York Mets scout team in the inaugural Metropolitan Baseball Classic. He also competed in Long Beach, Calif., against national top prospects on the New Balance Area Code Team.
Other honors include Perfect Game National All-America honorable mention and was named to the Midwest Scouting Association Select 50.
Just last week, Eldridge was selected to play in the Perfect Game World Classic in Ft. Myers, Fla. Jan. 4-5. The competition will have baseball players from Europe, the U.S., Canada, Japan and Latin America.
