The Oklahoma Christian Saints totalled 491 offensive yards in a 50-7 homecoming blasting of Crooked Oak Friday night at Oklahoma Christian School.
The Saints led just 22-7 at the half but dominated in the third quarter, scoring 21 points to pull away from the Ruf-Nex.
OCS gunslinger Will McKinnis, who unloaded four touchdown passes on the night, threw three of them in the third quarter. He hit Connor Sikes (39 yards), Cameron James (13 yards) and Kade VanMeter (28 yards) respectively. McKinnis made good on 12-of-16 attempts for 224 yards.
Sikes hauled in 118 yards receiving on just three catches but two of which went for TDs. Sikes made the score 15-nothing in the second period when he scooted 77 yards with the pigskin on a pass from McKinnis.
The rushing yardage was spread out as the Saints racked up 267 yards on the ground led by Thomas Qualls (3-72), who found the end zone in the final stanza on a 33-yard jaunt.
Teammate Luke Frankfurt, who added 64 yards on 10 carries, scored on a four-yard run with 3:25 left before intermission for a 15-point cushion. Frankfurt also accounted for the first score of the game on a rush of just a yard.
Oklahoma Christian will play at Noah next Friday.
