Special to The Sun
Richmond Sports Enterprises presents the second annual Thabo Sefolosha Basketball Clinic Sept. 14th from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Edmond Santa Fe High School.
Sefolosha is a starting player for the Oklahoma City Thunder. The clinic will stress offensive and defensive fundamentals taught by not only one of the NBA’s premier defenders, but also top high school coaches from around the Oklahoma City metro area. The clinic is open to boys and girls ages 10-17.
Each child will receive a camp shirt, a group picture and a signed picture of Sefolosha, a basketball and a gift bag.
The cost of the camp is $110.00. Ten dollars from every registration will go Habitat for Humanity to help with the construction of homes affected by the May tornadoes. A select number of families will also be chosen to receive a specific amount of proceeds to help aid them in their recovery process. The families will be invited, but will not be notified of the financial gift until the day of the camp. No walk-ins will be accepted and the clinic is not open to the public.
Registration is available on-line at www.thaboclinic.net and will cut off at 130 participants.
