EDMOND — Boys Player of the Year
Edmond North’s Casey Distaso compiled a 23-3 record on the way to leading the Huskies to the 6A team championship last spring. An All-Stater and Jim Thorpe award winner,he finished first at Edmond and Owasso, second at Conference and third at Tahlequah. A four time state placer, he won the regional tournament and was the class 6A state runner up. Distaso’s only losses in 2010 were to the class 4A and 6a state champs.

No. 1 Singles
Bryce Merritt - Memorial
Merritt was the runner-up in the regional championship and finished sixth at state. The senior also took second at the Edmond Memorial Invitational.
No. 2 Singles
Nate Roper - North
Roper finished the season with an undefeated record of 11-0 at No. 2 Singles. His 2010 resume includes the conference, regional and state championships.
No. 1 Doubles
Truitt Gray and Gavin Dubberstein - Memorial
After winning the state championship in No. 2 doubles last year, they teamed up to finish as the class 6A state runner-up in 2010.
No. 2 Doubles
Baylor Spring and Alex Mathieson - North
They took the 6A State Championship and finished with a 16-2 season record including a first at Ada along with seconds at Owasso and the Heritage Hall Tournament of Champions.
