OBU Honor Roll lists 21 Edmond residents

EDMOND — Twenty-one Edmond residents were named on Oklahoma Baptist University’s academic honor roll for the fall 2012 semester.

The President’s Honor Roll included Chelsea Abinah, a sophomore psychology: pre-counseling major; Jordan Bowles, a junior applied communication major; Sheridan Crofford, a freshman nursing major; Cyrena Downs, a freshman nursing major; Hannah Helker, a sophomore secondary math education major; Chace Ifland, a freshman religion major; Amber Morrisett, a freshman pre-allied health and rehabilitation science major; Abigail Pearson, an undecided sophomore; Alexander Shirley, a senior applied communications major; Kailey Shuler, a junior biology major; Mariah Strong, a senior religion: Bible major; Tallie Thompson, a freshman art major; and Taylor Thompson, a senior exercise science: sports medicine major.

The Dean’s Honor Roll included Cameron Davis, a freshman pre-allied health and rehabilitation science major; Alexander Hall, an undecided freshman; Kristin Hamman, a sophomore nursing major; Robyn Hobbs, a freshman worship arts major; Austin Knight, a sophomore biochemistry major; Brittni Smith, a sophomore elementary education/early childhood education major; Bailee Steele, a sophomore elementary education and early childhood education double major; and Emily Stengel, a sophomore biology major.

Students who achieved a semester grade point average of 3.7 or higher on a 4.0 scale are named to the President’s Honor Roll. Those who achieved a grade point average between 3.4 and 3.69 are listed on the Dean’s Honor Roll.
