EDMOND —
Seven University of Central Oklahoma students will compete in the Miss UCO 2013 pageant at 3 p.m. Oct. 6 in Constitution Hall, in Central’s Nigh University Center.
As an official preliminary event to the Miss Oklahoma and Miss America pageants, the Miss UCO 2013 pageant will offer winners cash scholarships and Central tuition waivers totaling close to $8,000.
With the theme “UCO…It’s the Place to Be,” Alyssa Baldwin Siler, a Central graduate and Miss UCO 2001, will serve as this year’s Mistress of Ceremonies.
Tickets will be available at the door for $10.
The seven contestants are:
Brighton Cargal, Moore, sophomore, Music Theatre
Autumn Circle, Blackwell, sophomore, Music Theatre
Shelby Eddleman, Sarasota, Fla., junior, Special Education
Ashleigh Hamil, Sand Springs, sophomore, Kinesiology
Allora Herrin, Blanchard, senior, Family Life Education
Grace Holloway, Tulsa, junior, Mass Communications/Broadcasting
Danielle Kimbley, Oklahoma City, freshman, undecided
