Former congressman, Native American historian present free lectures
The University of Central Oklahoma will feature a pair of public lectures on its campus Nov. 7, one featuring Mickey Edwards, former congressman for Oklahoma’s 5th district, and the other with Native American historian Susan A. Miller.

Oklahoma Christian University will honor longtime professors, servant-hearted alumni and a local philanthropist at its annual Alumni Banquet on Friday.

A student team from Oklahoma Christian University won the Statewide Student Ethics Challenge in Norman. Another OC team placed third in the contest, which featured 16 teams from 10 universities across the state.

Grand concert slated for Tuesday at OC
Oklahoma Christian University’s Department of Music will present its 17th annual Grand Concert Oct. 9. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. in OC’s Hardeman Auditorium. Admission is free.
