EDMOND Jessica Leigh Vollbrecht and Andrew Lamons Rugg, both of Dallas, Texas, celebrated their wedding vows on December 13, 2008, in the ballroom of the Rosewood Crescent Hotel in Dallas. The double ring ceremony took place at Perkins Chapel on the campus of Southern Methodist University. The ceremony was officiated by Rev. Robert Leacock of Saint Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church.

The bride is the daughter of Gwen and Jack D. Vollbrecht of Edmond. The groom is the son of Carol and Brian Rugg of Boston, Mass. The maids of honor were Helen C. Vollbrecht and Heidi Vollbrecht, both of Edmond. The bridesmaids were C.C. Alexander of Dallas, Drue Diesselhorst of Oklahoma City, Katie Serfoss of Clinton, Okla., and Sarah Pugsley and Regan Raff, both of Edmond. The best man was Kyle Rugg of Dallas. The groomsmen were Michael Bernardo of Atlanta, Georgia; Brent Cortez, Casey Deskins and Dylan Rhea, all of Dallas, Andrew Dougherty of Lubbock, Texas; and Robert Rokoff of Manhattan Beach, Calif.

Serving as ushers were the bride’s cousins, Tyler Constantine, Colin Constantine and Christopher Constantine, all of Purchase, New York, and Justin Constantine of Dallas. The bride’s house party included Christina Peveto of Plano, Texas, Alison Dalton of Denton, Texas, Jennifer Grumbles of Dallas, and Isabelle McDowell of Austin, Texas. The Scriptures readings were offered by Jennifer Grumbles and Colin Constantine.

A cocktail party and dinner reception were held in the Garden Room and two formal Ballrooms at The Rosewood Crescent Hotel in Dallas. After a honeymoon in the Turks and Caicos Islands, the couple reside in Dallas. The bride recently earned a Masters of Science degree in Counseling from Southern Methodist University and is currently completing her post-graduate practicum experience for professional licensure in the state of Texas. The groom is currently employed as a project manager in commercial construction in Dallas, Texas.
