Adrienne Nicole Davis and Daniel Patrick Hare

EDMOND — The Hughes-Dillard Alumni Center at Baylor University in Waco, Texas, was the setting for the Oct. 3, 2008 wedding of Adrienne Nicole Davis of Waco, Texas and Daniel Patrick Hare of Edmond, Okla.

The bride is the daughter of Beth and Gil Davis of Hewitt, Texas. The groom is the son of Terri and Pat Hare of Edmond.

The ceremony was officiated by Pastor Jimmy Seibert of Waco, and Minister Scott Manley, family friend, of Oklahoma City.

The maid of honor was Amber Lee, of Waco. The matron of honor was Danielle Page of Fort Worth, Texas, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Kristin Biggs of Edmond, and Hayley Nagy of Tampa, Fla,, both sisters of the groom; and Melony Johnson and Donna Bonaldi, both of Waco.

The best man was Bobby Soltani of Longmont, Colo. Groomsmen were Bart Brewer, Bonner Gonzalez and Rory Laisle, all of Edmond; and Jonathan Davis and Michael Collins.

Ushers were Randy Biggs of Edmond and Micah Lamb of Waco.

The flower girls were Sabrina Page of Fort Worth, Texas, niece of the bride, and Madysen Nay of Waco. The ring bearer was Jack Biggs of Edmond, nephew of the groom.

At the end of the ceremony, when the minister introduced the couple as husband and wife to their wedding guests, Adrienne and Daniel turned around to see Joy, one of Baylor University’s real black bears mascots, who had dropped by to give the newlyweds an official raised-paw, Baylor ‘Sic’Em,” sign at the door to the church.

A reception was held at the Palladium in Waco. The wedding weekend also included a tailgating party at the OU-Baylor football game.

In March 2009, the couple will take a honeymoon trip to Europe following the groom’s graduation from Baylor Law School in February, 2009.

The couple resides in Waco, where the bride is employed at Omni Oil and Gas and the groom continues his final month of studies at Baylor Law School.
