Stephanie Kay-Lynn Ruiz and Ryan Lynn Ediger

EDMOND — Playa Del Carmen, Mexico, was the setting of the Jan 17, 2009 wedding of Stephanie Kay-Lynn Ruiz of Edmond, Okla. and Ryan Lynn Ediger of Enid, Okla.

The bride is the daugher of Stephen and Anita Ruiz of Edmond. The groom is the son of Roger and Cathy Ediger of Enid.

The wedding was officiated by the bride’s father, Rev. Stephen Ruiz. The matron of honor was Toni Weinmeister of Edmond, sister of the bride.

After a honeymoon in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico, a wedding reception was held March 7, 2009 at Seller’s Special Event Center.

A 2001 graduate of Edmond Memorial High School, Stephanie graduated from the University of Nebraska in 2006 with a degree in communications. She is a professional golfer.

The bride’s father is a senior landman with EOG Resources in Oklahoma City. Her mother is a nurse at Mercy Health Edmond.

Ryan is a 2001 graduate of Oklahoma Bible Academy in Enid. He graduated in 2005 with a degree in business administration from Tabor College in Hillsboro, Kan., and a 2006 graduate in ranch management from TCU in Fort Worth, Texas. He is a farmer and rancher.

The groom’s father is a lawyer with Mitchell and DeClerck in Enid. His mother is a homemaker.

Stephanie and Ryan reside in Enid.
