The First Presbyterian Church in Oklahoma City will be the setting of the 7 p.m. June 2, 2007, wedding of Melanie Frances Holsaeter of Edmond and James Caldwell Barrett of Muleshoe, Texas.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Matti and Janet Holsaeter of Edmond. Her father is a surgeon and her mother is a teacher at Edmond Memorial High School.
A 2002 Edmond North High School graduate, the bride-to-be earned a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. She is a medical student at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine.
The groom-to-be is the son of Bruce and Cindy Barrett of Muleshoe, Texas. His father is owner and operator of Springlake Potatoes and Barrett Farms and Ranch and his mother is a homemaker.
A 2000 Muleshoe High School graduate, the groom-to-be will earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in marketing and Spanish at West Texas A&M University in Canyon, Texas, in August.
