The First Christian Church in Edmond was the setting for the March 28, 2009 wedding of Denise Carol White of Edmond, Okla. and Jarred Leon Lowery of Guthrie, Okla.
The bride is the daughter of Joe and Donna White of Edmond. The groom is the son of Tim Lowery and Marla Cavett of Guthrie.
The ceremony was officiated by Jon Hill, brother-in-law of the bride.
Denise chose an ivory silk taffeta gown by Angelina Faccenda. The strapless bodice featured a beautiful pleating with a shirred midriff. The full skirt was softly draped for a dramatic effect. The gown featured a chapel-length train and buttons accented the zipper of the gown. To finish the look, Denise chose a soft romantic bubble veil in ivory that was adorned with pearls. She carried a bouquet of red roses to which her grandmother’s antique watch was attached.
The maids of honor were Dawn Christian of Ada, Okla. and Danielle Hill of Edmond, both sisters of the bride. The bridesmaids were Rachael Magnuson and Nancy Cooley, both of Edmond; and Beth Botts and Jamie Cinnamon of Oklahoma City. The junior bridesmaid was Taryn Cummings of Thornton, Colo.
The best man was Ben Coffman of Yukon, Okla. The groomsmen were Nick Jackson of Edmond, Mark Holland of Oklahoma City, Greg Cummings of Thornton, Colo., Travis Ridgeway of Carnegie, Okla., and Brandon Tontz of Guthrie. The junior groomsman was Garrett Christian of Ada.
The flower girls were Tyler Christian of Ada and Kendall Holland of Oklahoma City. The ring bearer was Elijah Hill, and the Bible bearers were Cooper Hill and Jarron Christian.
The soloist for the ceremony was Jenae Lowery, sister of the bride.
A reception was held at Quail Creek Golf and Country Club in Oklahoma City.
After a honeymoon trip to Cancun, Mexico, the couple now make their home in Edmond where the groom is employed at Joe White Insurance Agency and the bride is a chiropractic assistant with Dr. Mark Morgan.
