EDMOND —
The First Presbyterian Church of Edmond was the setting for the April 25, 2009 wedding of Amy Joy Airington and Joshua James Allen, both of Edmond, Okla. Rev. Dr. John Gruel officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Joe and Suzanne Airington of Edmond. The groom is the son of Lyndon and Sharon Allen, also of Edmond.
The matron of honor was Chelsea Ouellette of Little Elm, Texas. Bridesmaids were Sarah Pugsley of Edmond, Reynolds Cristelli of Tulsa, Okla., Christina Hiersche of San Diego, Calif., and Kathryn Idoux, of Dallas, Texas.
Olivia Allen of Springdale, Ark., was the junior bridesmaid.
Bestmen were Jared Allen of Edmond and Jason Allen of Springdale, Ark. Serving as groomsmen and ushers were Clark Sutton, J.J. Cartmill and Kyle Airington, all of Edmond. The ring bearer was Grant Allen of Springdale, Ark.
The wedding reception was held at the Gaylord-Pickens Oklahoma Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City.
After a honeymoon trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, the couple reside in Edmond. The bride is a dental hygienist, and the groom is a teacher and football coach at Edmond Memorial High School.
