Cindy Mitas and Tom Friedemann shared wedding vows Saturday, June 6, 2009 in a private garden wedding at their home in Northwest Oklahoma City, Okla. before Pastor Walter Swenson of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
After the ceremony, the couple celebrated their marriage with friends and family at the Venetian Room of the Skirvin Hilton in downtown Oklahoma City.
The bride is the daughter of Eileen and Bill Keeney of Satellite Beach, Fla. and Arthur and Rosann Faull of Titusville, Fla. Sons of the bride, Ben Mitas of Rockledge, Fla. and Will Mitas of Norman, Okla. served as ushers.
The groom is the son of Adolph and Florence Friedemann of Stillwater, Okla. Grandchildren of the groom served as junior attendants. Granddaughters Jordan, Audrey and Olivia, daughters of Jim and Kimm Friedemann of Norman, were flower girls, and grandsons Nathan, Noah and Nicholas, sons of Kari and Jason May of Midlothian, Tex., were the groom’s attendants and ring bearer.
Matron of honor was Donna Lopes of Fayetteville, N.C.
The best man was Jim Friedemann of Norman.
The bride graduated from Eau Gallie High School, Melbourne, Fla.; William Woods University in Fulton, Mo. and Oklahoma State University. She is employed by Francis Tuttle Technology Center.
The groom graduated from Stillwater High School, Oklahoma State University, The University of Central Oklahoma, and received his doctorate from Oklahoma State University. He is employed by Francis Tuttle Technology Center and was named Superintendent on July 1.
The couple will reside in Oklahoma City.
