Hendley — Root

The Dominion House in Guthrie was the setting for the May 18, 2007, wedding of Halston Lea Hendley of Edmond and Gregory Phillip Root of Canute.

The bride is the daughter of Jeff and Michaela Hendley of Edmond. The groom is the son of David and Marsha Root of Canute.

Jeff McMillon, a college minister, officiated.

The maid of honor was Holly Thomas of Edmond. The bridesmaids were Lindsey Schaefer of Edmond; Allison Ford and Kristen Radka, both of Ponca City; Kelsey Wall of Shawnee; Tracy Beutler of Canute; and Chloe Fielding and Claire Fielding, both of Cushing.

The best man was Dustin DeGarmo of Elk City. The groomsmen were Kade Calhoun, Kolby Calhoun and Chase Hendley, all of Edmond; Matt Yost and Tyler Smith, both of Elk City; Zach Kamphaus and Rhett Beutler, both of Canute; Eric Baker of Minco; and Kevin Edsall of Watonga.

The ushers were Cale Walker of Crescent and Allen Hutson of Marlow.

The flower girl was Taylor Beutler of Canute.

The reception was at the Dominion House in Guthrie.

After a honeymoon trip to the Greek Islands, the couple reside in Oklahoma City.

The bride is a University of Oklahoma Health Sciences physicians assistant student. The groom is an Oklahoma State University Medical School student.
